Aura Montessori House of Children was founded in October 2004 by Uma Venkatesh.

Uma is an ex-banker, who quit the corporate world to pursue her passion of providing quality early childhood education. She underwent Montessori training and started Aura Montessori House of Children.

Location

Aura Montessori is located in the quiet bylane of Wilson Garden Housing Colony, JP Nagar 7th Phase. It is easily accessible, being just off Puttenahalli Main Road (towards RBI Colony).

A lot of parents who enroll their children at Aura Montessori, drop their children by foot/vehicle, however transportation is also provided.

Timings

Aura Montessori operates from 9 AM in the morning to 1:30 PM in the afternoon. Class timings are 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon for first year children (below 4 years) For children above 4 years, classes are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Enrollment and Batches

Children at Aura Montessori are aged from 2 years to 6 years. They are exposed to a variety of activities that are both age appropriate as well as child-driven.

Since we follow the Montessori Method of guidance, we do not have separate classrooms for each age group. Instead the environment is arranged according to subject area, and children are always free to move around the room, and to continue to work on a piece of material with no time limit.
